How to communicate with the course instructor

If you have any questions about the course, please post them to the Ask a Question Here discussion topic. I will be checking the forum frequently. If other class members know the answer to your question(s), they should feel free to respond. I prefer to communicate through the discussions since it is important for the entire class to see all conversations related to course materials and activities. You will get a quicker response when you post a question to a forum as I check them more frequently than mail.
For questions of a more personal nature, you may mail me directly from within Canvas. If Canvas is not available or there is an emergency, please send email to __________ or call _________. I will respond to your email messages within 24 hours (Monday through Friday). So, for example; if you send mail at 3 PM on Friday, we will respond before 3 PM on Monday.
The grading schedule for each assignment will be announced before the beginning of the week in which it is due so that you know when to expect to see your grade.
