Institutional Learning Outcomes (ILO)

Institutional Learning Outcomes are outcomes that are woven into the fabric of all programs of study (45 credits or more) within the institution. These outcomes focus on the institution’s "Big Ideas" and align to the values of the institution.  

  • Communication: students will communicate ethically through a variety of mediums and/or methods as appropriate for diverse audiences, purposes, and contexts.  
  • Computation/Analytical Reasoning: students will systematically solve problems and/or reason using a range of methodologies in diverse contexts
  • Human Relations: students will articulate diverse perspectives and collaborate within a diverse population to accomplish a common goal.
