Copy or Move Videos

Organization of Videos

There could be occasion a video will need to move from one folder to another or copied leaving the original in the folder.

Moving Videos

• Within the folder containing the video, hover the mouse pointer over the video title. A row of icons will appear below the title, click Share

 

To open the option box below, select Manage

•  Merge into another session: in the drop down box find the folder to move the video into. This move means the video is no long within the original folder. 
• Copy Session: To maintain the original in place, instead copy the video. This will create a copy of video in place. (the same folder you are working within) 
• Go back to the folder find the copy (it will say copy in the title) and start the process over only the copy can be moved to another session keeping the original in place. 

Session in Panopto is the same as your course folder. New folders are created each quarter once a video is created.
