Unit 5

Google Tools

Google Docs in Plain English Links to an external site.

The tools will look very similar to what most word processor programs contain. There are a few differences illustrated below

1) This icon, top left of the screen, will allow you to jump back to your Google Drive, this is helpful if you are looking for a previously created document. Lesson5-img1.JPG

2) The content editor should look very familiar, the tools are commonly used within word processors.

3) Comments can be added to document. These comments will indicate who made them. Remember to highlight the text to be commented on first.

4) The share button is where you can get a shareable link, meaning that anyone with the link can edit or email addresses can be entered to determine exactly who can edit or see the document.
