Using Rubrics in Canvas
Use rubrics to your advantage!
Rubrics help your students understand what is expected of them and help you grade more efficiently. Once you have attached a rubric to a graded assignment (assignment, discussion, or quiz) you can use it to assess student work in the SpeedGrader. Using rubrics also allows students to better understand assignment expectations upfront. Canvas Rubrics are simple to build and make grading a breeze when aligned with an outcome, and when combined with the Learning Mastery Gradebook, they can also be a powerful tool for tracking your course outcomes.
