Using Assignment Groups
Keep it organized!
Assignments are housed on the Assignments page and can be organized using Assignment Groups. An Assignment Group is like a category and is useful in calculating final grades for students. Assignment Groups can be created and assigned on the Assignments page or can be added to an assignment in the assignment settings when you build the assignment. You can add rules to Assignment Groups to add grading exceptions like drop the lowest or keep the highest score in a group. Using Assignment Groups, you can also weight assignments by type or organize your assignments by module. Whatever grouping method you choose, keeping it organized is the way to go.
