Building Pages

Pages, pages everywhere!

Pages in Canvas are used to share content with students.  Canvas pages can be filled with informational and creative content that will engage your students and, depending on your course settings, Canvas pages can also be used as a work space for class collaborations.  But, before you can add your content to a page, you must first create the page.

New pages can be built in two places, either by going to Pages and using the +Page button or by going to Modules and adding a page directly to a module using the Add Content feature within the module.  Any pages created in Pages will auto-populate into the content selector in your modules.  Using modules will help you sequence your pages and structure your course.  You will find an alphabetical index of all of your pages in Pages for quick reference.  You can use the duplicate feature to copy pages housed within a module.
