Choosing a Home Page Layout
Let's face it, looks count!
Another easy way to customize your course is to select a home page option that best suits your students' needs. The first step is to decide what you want your students to see and how you want to welcome them to the course.
You can choose from the following home/front page options:
- Course Activity Stream
- Pages Front Page
- Course Modules
- Assignments List
- Syllabus
The "Pages Front Page" option is an especially good choice if you want to create a personalized home page with icons, images, or videos. With the "Pages Front Page" option you are only limited by your own creativity and best practices for creating accessible pages. You will want to get really familiar with how to use the content editor though!
