My classes were just there in Canvas, and now they are missing

What to do if your classes disappear from your Canvas account

You worked in your class all week long and felt like things are going well in Canvas, then bammo, when you logged in, none of your classes are on your dashboard page. What happened? 

Chances are you have been dropped from your classes. It could be for any of several reasons, but whatever the reason, you need to be proactive. Every minute you are not able to access your classes, you fall behind in your work. 

Follow these steps:

  1. Contact the registration office immediately to determine what the problem is and how it can quickly be resolved.  (509)574-4700
  2. Contact your instructor to let them know you were dropped from your class. Often your instructor can email the college's Canvas Admin to have you temporarily reinstated in the course until you can contact the registration office. 
  3. If you cannot reach your instructor right away, from within Canvas, click the Help question mark on the left menu. Next, fill in the report to indicate that your classes are missing along with your full name and student ID.

It is up to you to follow up as soon as possible!
