Taking Tests on Canvas

Any assignment in your modules that has this icon indicates the content is either an exam, test, or survey.  image of the quiz icon

There are different types of tests:

  • Low Stakes can be taken from any computer and does not require a proctor but might require the use of Respondus Lockdown Browser
  • High-stakes Tests usually require students to take them in a Proctored setting at the college's testing lab or, if students are testing from a distance, require the use of an off-campus proctor.
  • Any or all of your tests, quizzes, or exams may require using the Respondus Lockdown Browser. The Respondus app is available at the testing labs or can be downloaded to a student's computer.
