Using Canvas Cloud to Store Course Work

To access your files in Canvas, click on the Account icon on the left menu. Canvas gives each student a place to store files as well as a repository of all the data you may upload for assignments. It is as simple as dragging and dropping a file from your computer folders into the files section in Canvas. Why would you want to do this, you may be asking? Think of the files section in Canvas as a safe backup for your work. Files are stored in the Canvas Cloud, meaning they are safe, and you can access them 24/7 from anywhere you have access to the internet. 

You only have access to the files section while you are a student, so you would not store anything other than academic work within your Canvas files.
