What are Notification Preferences?

There are different types of notifications outside of the regular communication via your inbox, which we will discuss in a later lesson. You can receive notices on grade changes, due dates, or other essential activities within your classes. Notifications can be necessary, and it is one of the first things you should do in setting up your Canvas account for the first time.
